I recently stayed at Mu Yun Inn in Dali for a few days and I couldn't have been happier with my experience. The rooms were beautifully designed and the communal spaces were excellent. The two girls that manage the hotel were extremely helpful and accommodating. The Chinese breakfast they served was delicious and a unique experience. Despite the rainy weather, I felt fortunate to be staying at this great place. The rooftop lounge area was perfect for enjoying a cold pre-dinner beer. And I must mention their dog - the quietest and most gentle big dog I've ever met!

Small guesthouse with 4 comfy rooms. Easy walk to food, short drive/bike ride to viewing point. Good breakfast, zen atmosphere, safe location. Lovely house design, big clean room, nice touch with roses for anniversary. Helpful English-speaking owner.

This hidden gem exceeded all my expectations! The modern decor was jaw-dropping and created a relaxed atmosphere. The rooftop was the perfect spot to unwind. The small fee for unlimited movies was such a bonus. The bed, living room, and bathroom were all perfect. The hosts were lovely and even cooked an amazing breakfast. The quiet location, spacious room, and thoughtful details like the humidifier made it a true oasis. The owner's English was terrific and they even had a playful puppy! The beautifully designed rooms and EXCELLENT communal spaces were managed by two helpful girls. Despite the rain, this place made our stay unforgettable. The rooftop lounge area was ideal for a pre-dinner beer. Plus, the owner surprised us with small gifts and great English!

I also enjoyed interacting with their playful puppy. I highly recommend Mu Yun Inn for a truly delightful stay in Dali. Cons: No issues at all! 🎉.
